Bisnis, JAKARTA – The Indonesian government intends to import 1 million tons of rice from India this year, despite the National Food Agency's quota of rice imports of up to 2 million tons by the end of the year.
Indonesia Prepares for the Largest Rice Import
The Indonesia Ministry of Trade agree to rice import cooperation with India amounting to 1 million tons, on top of the import volume assigned by the National Food Agency to BULOG Public Corporation with a capacity of 2 million tons.
