Indonesia’s BEV Exports Slump by 40 Percent

Unlike hybrids, BEV exports from Indonesia is still sluggish despite a growing global demand.


Bisnis, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) exports in January-November 2024 has slumped by 40 percent compared to the previous year from 1,404 to just 849 units, according to the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo).
