Prabowo’s Flagship Housing Program in Dire Need of Funding

Bisnis, JAKARTA — Policymakers will need to rack its brains on how to finance President Prabowo Subianto’s three million homes program. As it stands, the project—estimated to cost up to IDR 300 trillion—far exceeds the Public Housing and Settlements Ministry’s 2025 budget of IDR 5.2 trillion, which only amounts to the financing of 37,431 houses.
