Bisnis, JAKARTA – Daikin, a Japanese air conditioner manufacturer, confirmed that its made-in-Indonesia products will soon enter the market in 2025, following the completion of its full-scale factory at the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) in Cikarang (12/12/2024).
This factory’s construction started in December 2022 with an investment of around IDR 3.3 trillion. The 204,000 square meter facility is designed with a production capacity of 1.5 million units per year. It will be the first full-scale air conditioner factory in Indonesia, where all processes from start to finish are carried out domestically.
