BisnisIndonesia.id, JAKARTA — The fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) or online lending industry booked a 109.8 percent year-on-year (yoy) surge in post-tax profit in November of last year, according to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
In the course of one year, the industry’s recorded post-tax profit rose from IDR 608.21 billion in November 2023 to IDR 1.27 trillion by November 2024. During this period, operational revenue amounted to IDR 13.72 trillion, an increase of 18.68 percent yoy. Meanwhile, non-operational revenue stood at IDR 188.19 billion or down 44.44 percent yoy.
