Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Analysts forecast an upbeat outlook for nickel miners through 2026 with projected double-digit profit growth, driven by rising nickel ore premiums despite a potential supply boom.
Nickel prices are trending upward with premiums stable at around $24–25 per wet metric ton (wmt) for grades above 1.7%. However, the government’s announcement of additional production quotas in the work plan and budget (RKAB) could boost supply in the second half of 2025.
