Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Palm oil companies are welcoming the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) ruling supporting Indonesia’s claims in the dispute with the European Union (EU) over countervailing duties on Indonesian biodiesel.
The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) is optimistic that by securing WTO’s support, palm oil exports to EU markets will rise, provided that the EU heeds the WTO panel’s recommendation to revoke its import duties on biodiesel.
